Results from Iconic Minerals’ (ICM) and Nevada Lithium Resources’ (NVLH) joint venture Bonnie Claire Project in Nevada show lithium potential.

According to the companies, recent lab test results confirmed that the rock types and lithium assay values between core hole BC2201C and core hole BC2203C correlated well.

The assay lengths from BC2203C averaged six metres, which was roughly three times longer than the average length of assays taken from the first hole resulting in a smoother assay value curve. The highest lithium assay in BC2203C was 4,740 parts per million lithium, and BC2201C had a high of 5,570 parts per million lithium.

The companies believe the assay values correlate well between the two holes, despite the gaps in results and variable sample lengths from BC2201C.

BC2203C had a shallow zone between 24 and 116 metres from the surface, which had assays averaging 97 per cent of the previous hole’s values. BC2203C’s deep zone was in between 317 and 610 metres and has assays averaging 107 per cent of the previous hole’s values.

This data suggests the partial results from BC2201C are close to the final results in values. Future assays are expected to show a similar correlation.
