iMining (IMIN) will purchase digital land in Decentraland and enter the Web 3.0 metaverse.

The company entered into a letter of intent with 1850142 Ontario Inc. to acquire the land as well as 16 Crypto Kitties NFTs and NFT Top Shots.

It will pay C$300,000 and issue 2,500,000 common shares priced at $0.12 per share.

iMining will use the land to develop the future of work and how organizations, professionals and employees interact with one another.

Web 3.0 is a decentralized method of accessing information on the Internet. It brings together augmented and virtual reality technology, IoT devices, blockchain technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

“Web 3.0 will entirely change how people interact with technology and with each other,” said Khurram Shroff, iMining’s President and CEO. “This is an exciting time and I remain confident that iMining is positioned as a thought leader to assist this entire industry grow.”

iMining is developing technology for proof of stake infrastructure and investing in crypto and blockchain assets linked to NFTs and decentralized finance.

iMining (IMIN) is up by 36.36 per cent and is currently trading at $0.15 per share as of 12:17 pm EST.
