Cannabis company, Indiva (NDVA) has launched its new premium product brand, Artisan Batch.

Cannabis for the brand is sourced through Indiva’s ongoing partnership with BC Craft Supply Co.

The brand features high-quality, potent cannabis strains from local craft growers and microgrowers across Canada. One such grower featured in the brand is Coast Mountain Cannabis, from Pemberton Valley in British Columbia.

Coast Mountain grows its cannabis in organic living soil, which produces a cleaner product and smoother smoke. The company cold-cures all of its products, and trims them by hand to ensure the highest quality.

Indiva believes that its premium new brand will provide local growers like Coast Mountain with the opportunity for national exposure.

The first cannabis strain to be offered through Artisan Batch is BC Original Glue, which is grown by Coast Mountain Cannabis. Artisan Batch products will be available in a dried flower format, and have already begun shipping out to Western Canada.

Indiva’s President and CEO, Niel Marotta, said the company is excited to launch its new premium brand, Artisan Batch.

“This marks another significant step in Indiva expanding its product array as a national provider of premium cannabis products.

“Artisan Batch will bring strains previously popular in the legacy market to the legal market via craft and microgrowers. Through our partnership with BC Craft, we are thrilled to be able to give craft and microgrowers a national platform and bring of-age Canadians the best cannabis Canada has to offer,” he said.

Indiva (NDVA) is down 1.79 per cent and is trading at C$0.28 per share at 1:45pm EDT.
