International Clean Power Dividend Fund (TSX:CLP.UN) announces TSX approval for a normal course issuer bid

International Clean Power Dividend Fund (TSX:CLP.UN) has received approval for a normal course issuer bid (NCIB).

Purchases pursuant to the NCIB will be made in the open market through the facilities of the TSX.

This NCIB will commence on March 29, 2022 and terminate on March 28, 2023. In accordance with the Declaration of Trust by which the Fund is governed, market purchases pursuant to its NCIB may be effected by the Fund.

The Fund had 19,354,567 units issued and outstanding as of March 15, 2022.

During the 12-month period commencing March 29, 2022, the International Clean Power Dividend Fund may purchase on the TSX up to 1,913,826 units, being 10 per cent of the public float. It may not, in any 30-day period, purchase more than 387,091 units, being 2 per cent of the units issued and outstanding.

The company will hold all units purchased in treasury for resale.

As of March 15, 2022, the International Clean Power Dividend Fund had purchased 794,700 units on the TSX at an average price of $8.91 per unit under its previously approved normal course issuer bid.

International Clean Power Dividend Fund (TSX:CLP.UN) is up 0.12 per cent, trading at $8.35 as of 1:05 pm ET.
