Jourdan (JOR) has drilled an eastern extension of lithium pegmatite at its Vallée Project.

The first four drill holes of its winter 2022 drilling campaign encountered the spodumene-bearing extension on the Quebec-based property.

The 10-hole, 2000 m program is targeting a pegmatite swarm identified by bulk sample trenching in 2018. Assays have subsequently revealed high-grade Li2O.

Drill holeDescription
VAL22-2-67 interceptions of a 1 to 3 m spodumene dyke
VAL22-2-71 interception of a 1 m spodumene dyke
VAL22-3-66 interceptions of a 1 to 2 m spodumene dyke
VAL22-4-65 interceptions of a 1 to 2 m spodumene dyke

“With the net proceeds received from the flow-through financing we completed before the end of last year, we are excited at the possibilities of our latest drill program,” stated Rene Bharti, Jourdan’s CEO.

“Jourdan’s goal for this year continues to be to define a preliminary mineral resource estimate, with our eventual goal being to become Quebec’s next lithium producer,” he added.

Jourdan Resources is focused on the acquisition, exploration, production and development of lithium properties in Quebec.

Jourdan Resources (JOR) is down by 9.09 per cent trading at $0.05 per share as of 2:25 pm EST.
