Kintavar Exploration (KTR) has completed drilling on its Wabash Copper Project in Quebec.

Mineralization is hosted in marble and paragneiss units and is mainly composed of chalcopyrite and bornite with traces of chalcocite and sphalerite.

The holes drilled in the Cloutier area intersected mineralized units at a depth over 1.0 km north-south. In the Lapointe area and the Indiana area, mineralized units were intersected at a depth of over 1.5 km northeast-southwest.

Initial results of sampling are expected in January or February.

President and CEO of Kintavar Exploration, Kiril Mugerman, said about the drilling.

“We are very pleased with this first drilling program on Wabash. We were able to get the mineralization on surface and to get their extension at depth.”

The data from earlier exploration programs shows a clear trend of over 6 km that stretches from Indiana to Cooper and remains open to both North and South.

Kintavar Exploration is a Canadian mineral exploration corporation focusing on the acquisition, assessment, exploration and development of gold and base metal mineral properties.

Kintavar Exploration (KTR) is up 5.88 per cent at C$0.18 per share at 1:29 PM EST.
