Key Highlights

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FSE: 89N) reported that drilling at its Lawson 5 well, a 30-kilometre step-out from its earlier Lawson natural hydrogen discovery near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, confirmed what the company described as an active, generative natural hydrogen system along the western edge of the Prairie Evaporite.

The company also said drilling at a follow-up well, Lawson 6, is now in progress about 8 km southeast of Lawson 5, while it begins a separate completions program at its Bracken target in southwest Saskatchewan.

This article is a journalistic opinion piece which has been written based on independent research. It is intended to inform investors and should not be taken as a recommendation or financial advice.

MAX Power said Lawson 5 was cased after reaching a total depth of 2,175 metres, with 62 metres of core recovered for analysis, and that the well will form part of an upcoming Lawson completions program. In its technical description, the company said the lowermost Deadwood and Precambrian basement complex at Lawson 5 showed more pronounced iron redox, alteration and serpentinization reactions than previously observed at Lawson, including strong hematite oxidation associated with elevated levels of natural hydrogen along sub-vertical faults.

MAX Power also said the Lower Interlake interval above the Deadwood Formation includes helium-prospective zones that it plans to examine for potential testing during completions.

Testing plans at Lawson and Bracken

MAX Power said it has now confirmed active, generative natural hydrogen systems in three distinct areas across central and southern Saskatchewan, separated by as much as 365 kilometres, ranging from the western edge of the Prairie Evaporite through the Lawson Complex (Lawson 1 to 4) to the Bracken target near the Montana border.

The company said its completions program has started at Bracken and that crews will head north the following week to begin testing at the Lawson Complex for flow, concentrations and volume.

In a statement included in the release, Chief Geoscientist Steve Halabura said, Whether weve hit an entirely separate Natural Hydrogen system at L-5, or whether this is connected to the Lawson Complex, will be determined through more drilling and geophysical work.

Financing and advisory and marketing agreements

MAX Power reported that from September 1 through October 15, 2026, it raised a total of $1,662,000 through the exercise of warrants and stock options. The release broke this out as 1,187,500 warrants exercised for $1,462,500 and 891,667 stock options exercised for $199,500. The company did not specify a currency for these amounts.

The company said it entered into an advisory fee agreement with Hampton Securities Limited effective October 13, 2026, with an engagement period running through December 31, 2026. Under the agreement, MAX Power said it will pay a one-time advisory fee of $400,000 plus applicable taxes, payable upon execution, and that Hampton is not entitled to any other compensation under the agreement.

MAX Power also said it amended its investor marketing and consulting agreement with RazorPitch, Inc. under two amendments effective October 5 and October 13, 2026. The company said it will pay additional cash fees of $250,000 USD under each amendment (an additional $500,000 USD in total), bringing total cash consideration payable to RazorPitch under the agreement, as amended, to $850,000 USD, with the term unchanged through November 14, 2026.

Separately, MAX Power said it engaged Emerging Markets Consulting, LLC for a two-week influencer and AI discoverability campaign beginning the week of October 26, 2026, for a cash fee of $200,000 USD.
