Mayo Lake Minerals (MLKM) is planning to drill highly prospective silver targets from its 2021 sampling program at its Carlin-Roop Silver Project.

Thirteen grab samples were collected during prospecting at Carlin West. The silver content from seven rock samples had a varying range of high-grade silver equivalent.

The grab sample with the strongest source is located at the northern end of a soil anomaly at the Carlin West area. It was on a part of the priority anomaly where the silver anomaly did not show its highest values.

Soil sampling at Carlin West delineated four linear silver anomalies beyond the priority anomaly, all of which provide favourable drill targets for high-grade Keno Hill Silver Mineralization. These targets will be fully tested during Mayo’s early summer 2022 drilling campaign.

Tyrell Sutherland, Mayo Lake’s Vice-President of Exploration, commented,

“The assays from the grab samples at Carlin West confirm our interpretation that this area contains high-grade silver common to the heart of the Keno Hill Silver Camp… We look forward to receiving assay results from the roughly 1500 metres of diamond drilling planned for June at Carlin West, with a focus on the drilling of the priority anomaly, associated with the high-grade grab sample of 4,311 grams silver equivalent per tonne.”

Mayo Lake Minerals Inc. (MLKM) is up 10.00 per cent trading at $0.55 per share as of 11:28 a.m. ET.
