MediPharm Labs (TSX:LABS) has announced that its Ace Valley Vapes product line is now available in Canada.

The current line consists of CBD, Sativa, and Indica, all in 0.3 millilitres of cannabis distillate. Each of these is comprised of 95 per cent distillate and five per cent terpenes.

The vape hardware is an all-in-one unit, so customers won’t have to purchase the battery and vaporiser cartridge separately.

The launch is the result of a white label agreement between a MediPharm subsidiary and Ace Valley Cannabis. Under the agreement, Ace Valley designed, branded, and marketed the new vaporiser products. MediPharm Labs provided the raw cannabis material, formulated the product, and offered to distribute it across Canada.

MediPharm’s CEO, Pat McCutcheon, said that Ace Valley has emerged as one of Canada’s true cannabis brands.

“We are proud to be partnering with a team that consistently raises the bar through product development and marketing ingenuity, further elevated by our superior product formulations and top CPG-quality processes,” he said.

Mike Wagman, CEO of Ace Valley, also commented on the collaboration.

“We are passionately building a great cannabis brand in Canada. Our new all-in-one vapes, with an innovative logo light-up feature, are a big part of our platform.

“We have a strong partner in MediPharm Labs, the leader in cannabis extraction and purified cannabis concentrates in Canada,” he said.

MediPharm Labs has already shipped three Ace Valley Vapes products to distribution hubs in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta. In addition, the products will also become available from retailers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

MediPharm (LABS) is up 6.15 per cent and is currently trading at C$2.07 per share at 11:12am EDT.
