Nevada Silver (NSC) appointed Oliver Lennox-King to the NSC board as Non-Executive Chairman, effective immediately.

Lennox-King will replace John Kutkevicius, who has held the position in an interim capacity since the summer of 2022.

Lennox-King has had a long and distinguished career in the mineral resource industry with experience in financing, research, and marketing. Since 1992, he has held senior executive and board positions with a number of junior exploration and mining companies.

Most recently, Lennox-King was the Chairman of Roxgold Inc from 2012 until its acquisition by Fortuna Silver Mines in July 2021. His other notable Chairmanships include Pangea Goldfields, Aurora Uranium and Fronteer Gold.

The company has also appointed Megan McElwain as Non-Executive Director. McElwain has had a successful and diverse business career. She has produced content for Fox Television in Los Angeles, A&E Television Networks in New York and Alliance Atlantis, CTV News, Discovery Channel, BBC, National Geographic and Global News from Toronto.

In 2018, McElwain joined the Fraser Institute as Director of Development. Two years later, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce offered her the Vice President & General Manager position. McElwain was appointed President & COO of KWG Resources in January 2022.

NSC also announced that Dr. Ian Pringle will be stepping down from the Board. Dr. Pringle will take up a dual role as Chairman of the NSC Technical Committee and President and Director of the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary North American Silver Corporation. However, the company retained Dr. Pringle as a key technical consultant to the NSC Board.
