Nevada Sunrise (NEV) has discovered significant lithium mineralization at its Gemini Project in Nevada.

It drilled borehole GEM22-01 to a depth of 900 feet terminating in black, sticky clay. Fourteen samples from the clay layer returned a weighted-average value of 1,177.6 ppm lithium over 140 feet.

A second suite of samples from borehole GEM22-01 averaged 295.45 ppm lithium over 60 feet.

The two sets of samples range from 320 to 520 feet in depth.

Nevada Sunrise also drilled borehole GEM22-02 to a depth of 1,120 feet with samples returning weighted-average values of 775.9 ppm lithium over 130 feet from 390 to 520 feet.

Initial analytical results suggest that the lithium-bearing clay layers may be widespread and that Gemini holds the potential for brines at greater depths than those tested in the 2022 spring drilling program.

The company is preparing for additional drilling as well as follow-up geophysical surveys.

Nevada Sunrise is a junior mineral exploration company that holds interests in gold, copper, cobalt and lithium projects in Nevada.

Nevada Sunrise (NEV) is up by 62.5 per cent trading at $0.13 per share as of 2:14 pm EST.
