Nextleaf Solutions (OILS) has provided updates on its CBD business including new partnerships and product commercialization.

Nextleaf Boosts CBD Supply with Validated Hemp Partner

Nextleaf, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Nextleaf Labs, has validated and entered a supply agreement with a B.C. hemp supplier for CBD-rich biomass.

The company will process the biomass into refined and distilled CBD oils for the wholesale market and provincially authorized distributors and retailers.

The partners will share net proceeds from sales to maintain a working capital-efficient supply.

Charles Ackerman, Nextleaf’s CFO, commented,

“We are very pleased to work with a reputable B.C.-based partner who has a nationwide network of validated CBD-rich hemp farms to meet our increasing demand.

The receipt of our sales licence has unlocked new revenue segments and this agreement will offer Nextleaf the opportunity to prove the disruptive nature of our technology.”

Nextleaf Provides Ingredients and Manufacturing for Atlantic Canada Partner

The company continues to support an early pioneer in cannabis production in Atlantic Canada developing proprietary high-purity CBD products.

Nextleaf will provide ongoing bulk CBD supply and manufacturing services to support the launch of its partner’s CBD products later this year.

CBD Commercialization with Rapid Emulsion Technology by OILS

Nextleaf has completed successful scale-up trials for a variety of market-validated liquid-based products based on its CBD Rapid Emulsion Technology by OILS.

Additionally, the company is finalizing a powdered version of its CBD Rapid Emulsion Technology and expects commercialization to commence this year.

Nextleaf Solutions is a low-cost producer of cannabis distillate and private label THC and CBD oils.

Nextleaf (OILS) is down by 2.13 per cent and is currently trading at $0.23 per share as of 10:43 am ET.
