OOOOO Entertainment (OOOO) has added Boohoo.com as the latest addition to its mobile commerce platform.

Based in the United Kingdom, Boohoo is an online fashion retailer aimed at 16- to 30-year-olds. Founded in 2006, the company specializes in its own brand of fashion clothing, with over 36,000 products available.

The company reported sales of £1,234.9 million in 2020 and continues to grow as it acquires new brands.

Sam Jones, co-founder and CEO of OOOOO, commented on the new partnership.

“We are thrilled to welcome Boohoo to the OOOOO platform,” he said. “Fashion is a key pillar of our UK strategy and Boohoo are pioneers in this category, which will benefit our content and user base significantly.”

Interactive video commerce continues to explode as a mega-trend in China in a market estimated to reach $305 billion this year, according to Forbes.

The OOOOO platform uses a unique interactive video commerce application that allows brands and retailers to embrace the fast-growing live stream economy.

The platform also offers gamification and social features that reward the community for helping to grow the user base, reducing the need for traditional ad networks.

Since its launch in November 2020, OOOOO has been downloaded over 360,000 times and successfully onboarded leading brands across the fashion, sport, beauty, and wellness industries.

Shares in OOOOO Entertainment Commerce Ltd. (OOOO) are up 4.40 per cent, trading at $0.95 per share as of 10:06 am ET.
