Orezone Gold Corporation (ORE) has discovered high-grade gold at the Maga Hill, Maga Main, and Siga zones of its Bomboré Gold Mine.

The company recently finished its phase three drilling program on the project, located in Burkina Faso, West Africa, which focused on converting inferred resources into measured and indicated for an upcoming sulphide expansion study planned for the first half of 2023.

A key part of the drilling at Maga Hill was targeting higher-grade granodiorite folded structures which were intercepted in the near-surface oxide zones.

The preliminary results at Maga Hill returned several high-grade gold intercepts within the sulphide zone, and more results are coming. Preliminary results at Maga Main were also considered promising thus far.

Drilling at the main hanging wall at the Siga Zone showed down-dip continuity of mineralization. Also, drilling within the inferred mineralized zones at Siga South and Sigma West was reported to be successful. All the results allowed the company to plan for a follow-up drill program for next year.

The company also shared it has completed core drilling at P8P9 with results expected in the coming weeks, and reverse-circulation drilling will also be done this week which targeted inferred and new oxide targets. Results will be announced early next year.

Orezone Gold Corporation (ORE) is up 2.48 per cent and is trading at $1.24 per share as of 12:43 p.m. EST.
