Patriot Battery Metals (PMET) has announced results from the summer phase of its 2022 drill campaign on its Corvette Property in Quebec.

According to the company, results include well-mineralized intercepts of high-grade lithium oxide and tantalum oxide.

“The summer drill program has had an excellent start with some very strong drill intersections in our first two holes completed…This discovery continues to grow as we drill and with a third drill rig and accompanying barge now being mobilized, the pace of delineation will increase,” Blair Way, President, CEO and Director of Patriot, said.

The company stated it targeted a drill area at the CV Lithium Trend with a completed 36 holes done for the entire drill campaign so far.

Patriot also reported that the summer drilling had found the primary spodumene-bearing pegmatite body from the CV5 outcrop to the CV6 outcrop over a 500-metre area. The main pegmatite body has now been traced over a strike length of approximately 1,900 metres and remains open in all directions.

Drill hole CV22-036 was tested with the company hoping to see an extension of the main spodumene pegmatite along strike from the CV5 outcrop to the CV6 outcrop. The hole was successful and encountered multiple and distinct pegmatite intersections with lithium oxide.

Patriot stated a barge and third drill rig has arrived on site and will be positioned on the shallow lake, overlying portions of the mineralized pegmatite, for lake-based definition drilling throughout the summer and into the fall.

Patriot Battery Metals Inc. (PMET) is up 14.54 per cent trading at $3.15 per share as of 2:26 p.m. ET.
