PlantX Life (VEGA) will be launching two XMarket stores next month in prominent Hudson’s Bay locations.

The stores will open in Yorkdale Mall in Toronto on November 15, 2021, and in Rideau Mall in Ottawa on November 22, 2021.

The stores will showcase a variety of plant-based grocery items, cosmetics and indoor plants. Additionally, XMarket Rideau will include an XMarket-branded café providing selected plant-based food and beverages.

The stores will increase brand recognition and establish more favourable financial terms for brick-and-mortar locations. They will also enable same-day delivery within both cities, significantly advancing the company’s existing sales and marketing strategies.

The partnership between the company and Hudson’s Bay began with its launch as a marketplace seller on The Bay’s official website in April 2021.

Sean Dollinger, Founder of PlantX, stated,

“Opening two new XMarket stores in partnership with the iconic Hudson’s Bay will undoubtedly transform the potential of our future retail efforts. The stores will be crucial discovery touchpoints for customers frequenting these highly trafficked areas, which will boost the PlantX brand recognition.

This move enables us to make significant and exciting investments that will enhance customer engagement, and provides us with yet another opportunity to promote plant-based living across Canada.”

PlantX offers more than 5,000 plant-based products to customers across North America, including plants, food, groceries and cosmetics.

PlantX Life (VEGA) is up by 2.63 per cent and is currently trading at $0.39 per share as of 10:32 am ET.
