Platinex Inc. (CSE:PTX) announces retirement and Finance Advisory Committee appointment

Platinex announced today that its long-standing board director Lorne D. Burden will be retiring from the board, effective March 31, 2021.

The company also announced that it has appointed Frank Hoegel to its Finance Advisory Committee.

James R. Trusler, chairman and CEO of Platinex, commented on Mr. Burden’s retirement and Mr. Hoegel’s appointment.

“Lorne and I have been industry colleagues and friends for over 35 years. I wish him well in his retirement,” he said.

“We welcome Frank’s knowledge and extensive experience and track record he brings to our advisory board. Frank’s work in the mining sector includes capital markets activities, fundraising, diverse board and M&A experience.”

Mr. Hoegel has international financing experience, the ability to analyze expansion and acquisition opportunities, and expertise with Canadian and Australian resource companies.

The company has also granted 600,000 options to an advisor and consultant. The options are priced at C$0.07 and expire five years from today’s date.

Platinex Inc. is a Canadian based mining exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties for the mining of precious and base metals in Canada. Its projects include Shining Tree Gold situated in Churchill, MacMurchy, and Asquith Townships, in Ontario.

Platinex Inc. (PTX) is up 8.33 per cent and is currently trading at C$0.065 per share as of 1:10 pm ET.
