Platinum Group Metals (PTM) is in the process of completing its geotechnical drilling program at Waterburg that commenced in July.

The company drilled a total of 5,966 metres over 46 boreholes along the centerline of two sets of twin declines and box-cut positions.

All boreholes except those in the planned box-cut areas were backfilled with cement upon completion.

Drilling confirmed that the box-cut positions are in sandstone before cutting into the igneous rocks of the Bushveld Complex.

Geotechnical qualified persons monitoring the drill program have stated that in general, the rock mass encountered along both decline routes can support the planned excavations with no major problem areas expected.

In addition to completing its geotechnical drill program, Platinum Group Metals also recently submitted its first environmental and social governance disclosure, which it developed with Digbee Ltd., a new mining expert network and ESG disclosure platform.

The company is conducting environmental monitoring activities as it continues exploration and construction across the property.

Platinum Group management continues to work closely with regional authorities and local communities and their leadership on how the Waterberg Mine can be developed to provide optimal outcomes and best value to all stakeholders.

Platinum Group Metals Ltd. is the operator of the Waterberg Project, a bulk underground palladium and platinum deposit located in South Africa.

Platinum Group Metals Ltd. (PTM) is currently up 1.95 per cent, trading at $3.15 per share at 3:15 pm ET.
