Precipitate Gold (PRG) has uncovered two gold-in-soil anomalies at its Ponton Project in the Dominican Republic.

The Vancouver-based junior has zeroed in on the Copey Hill zone, after a grab samples assayed up to 53 grams per tonne gold last month. Field crews have since taken 73 rock samples, which have now been assayed revealing some notable results.

Notably, one sample returned 17 grams per tonne gold and 37 grams per tonne silver. 30 of the 73 samples ranged between 0.5 grams per tonne gold and 17 grams per tonne gold.

Within the Copey Hill zone, exploration was focused on the south anomaly, which returned elevated gold and silver values within a 400 by 200 metre square area.

Consequently, the south anomaly is a promising target for future drilling work on the property.

Jeffrey Wilson, CEO and President of Precipitate said he was very pleased to see the latest assays from the rock sampling work on the highly anomalous Copey Hill zone.

“Many of these anomalous samples occur peripherally to the previously reported 53 grams per tonne gold sample, up to 250 metres distance, demonstrating the potential for a large undiscovered mineralised system.

“We’re excited to expand our groundwork within Copey Hill to include additional soil and rock sampling in tandem with ongoing ground magnetic surveying,” he said.

Precipitate Gold (PRG) is in the grey and is trading at C$0.28 per share at 2:00 pm EDT.
