Prismo Metals (PRIZ) has appointed Carmelo Marrelli as its Chief Financial Officer and corporate secretary.

Effective January 31, Mr. Marrelli will take over from current CFO and corporate secretary Salvador Miranda.

Craig Gibson, president and CEO of Prismo Metals, commented on Mr. Marrelli’s appointment.

“On behalf of the Board I wish to welcome Carmelo to the Prismo Metals’ team,” he said. “I also want to recognize the work from our current Chief Financial Officer and corporate secretary Salvador Miranda.

“Salvador has been with us since the founding of the company,” added Mr. Gibson, “and he played a key role in completing our 2020 going public transaction. Salvador had been wanting to dedicate more time to personal endeavours at some point and we understand his decision.”

Carmelo Marrelli is the principal of the Marrelli Group, delivering accounting, corporate secretarial, and regulatory compliance services to listed companies for over 20 years. He is a chartered professional accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a professional body that certifies corporate secretaries.

Mr. Marrelli acts as CFO to several issuers on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange and CSE, as well as non-listed companies, and as a director of select issuers.

Prismo is a junior mining company focused on precious metal exploration in Mexico.

Shares in Prismo Metals Inc. (PRIZ) are up 2.78 per cent, trading at $0.37 per share as of 9:38 am EST.
