Probe Metals (PRB) has shared the latest expanding gold results for its 2022 drill program on its Val-d’Or East Monique Property in Quebec.

Results from 79 new holes showed consistent new gold mineralized intersections along the strike, at depth and inside modelled zones. Grades varied from average to high but showed a prospective amount of high grades. Drilling confirmed a large 2.20-kilometre-long gold system which was seen as 1.00 kilometre wide and 600 metres deep.

David Palmer, President and CEO of Probe Metals, stated,

“The holes released today have provided us with yet another record gold interval, and we are in the enviable position of having a deposit that remains open in all directions, with the potential to continue growing and improving.”

The drill program covered 85,000 metres over a total of 299 holes on the property, which focused on resource expansion and conversion within and surrounding the conceptual pits from the 2021 preliminary estimate assessment report.

The Monique Gold Trend zones are all open along strike and at depth. All the drilling results at Monique will go towards a new mineral resource estimate scheduled for January.

“In 2023, our goal will be to demonstrate the phenomenal growth potential that we see in this project by continuing to grow resources, as well as stepping out to test some of the regional targets we have been developing over the past two years,” Palmer said.

Results for 341 holes from the related Pascalis and Courvan trends are still pending.

Probe Metals Inc. (PRB) is up 4.24 per cent, trading at $1.23 per share as of 12:47 p.m. EST.
