Pure Energy Minerals (PE) has appointed Nathaniel D. Hartwig to the board of directors, replacing Tyler Durham, who has resigned.

Hartwig holds a B.A. in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University and received his MBA in Strategic Leadership from Michigan State University in 2004.

He has held various positions with Schlumberger since 2013 and is currently Director North America, Schlumberger New Energy, leading new energy solutions in North America.

Hartwig represents Schlumberger, which holds a 17.99 per cent equity position in Pure Energy.

“Pure Energy is very pleased to welcome Hartwig as a board member, and we look forward to working with him as the Clayton Valley Project moves forward,” stated Mary Little, director of Pure Energy.

Pure Energy Minerals is a lithium resource developer driven to become a low-cost supplier for the growing lithium battery industry.

It has consolidated a pre-eminent land position at its Clayton Valley Project in the Clayton Valley of central Nevada for the exploration and development of lithium resources, comprising 950 claims over 23,360 acres, representing the largest mineral land holdings in the valley.

Pure Energy’s Clayton Valley Project adjoins and surrounds the Silver Peak lithium brine mine on three sides, which Albemarle Corporation operates.

Pure Energy Minerals (PE) is sitting at C$0.56 at 3:46 pm EST.
