Last week, Record Resources (TSXV:REC) began an exploration program on its Lorrain-Bucke property in Ontario’s Lake Temiskaming hydrogen camp.

The program – a collaboration with Quebec Innovative Materials (CSE:QIMC) and Quebec’s Institut national de la la recherche scientifique – has already finalized a hydrogen sampling survey between Lorrain-Bucke and Île Mann, located in the middle of Lake Temiskaming.

Record collected samples at 100-metre intervals across the surface of the lake, covering three parallel, east-west lines spaced two kilometres apart, using QIMC’s proprietary technology to identify areas with the potential for elevated hydrogen concentrations.

Lorrain-Bucke features positive indicators for hydrogen, including a gravity low coinciding with a large granitic intrusion potentially marking Paleozoic cover, as well as nearby major rift faults in the Lake Temiskaming Graben structure. Prospectivity is also supported by QIMC having made high-grade hydrogen discoveries in its adjacent St-Bruno-de-Guigues area.

Investors can expect results from Record Resources’ sampling program “as early as next week,” according to Tuesday’s news release.
