Red Light Holland (CSE:TRIP) has revealed its largest shipment to date of 5 kilograms of psilocybin truffles has been received by CCrest Labs in Montreal.

In a news release, the company stated this shipment represents a pivotal moment for Red Light Holland in advancing psilocybin research.

The truffles will be used in an experimental research project to develop a process for commercial manufacturing of natural-source active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) .

“We are excited to continue our work with CCrest Laboratories and PharmAla as we delve deeper into the therapeutic potential of psilocybin,” Todd Shapiro, CEO of Red Light Holland, said in a statement. “This largest and most significant shipment to date, underscores our dedication to research and development in the psychedelic space.

Red Light Holland is focused on the production, growth and sale of functional mushrooms and mushroom home grow kits in North America and Europe. Under its portfolio umbrella is also a premium brand of psilocybin truffles to the legal, recreational market within the Netherlands.

Shares of Red Light Holland Corp. are unchanged at C$0.06.
