Rockcliff Metals Corp (CSE:RCLF) has completed the fourth phase of its drilling program at the Bur Property in central Manitoba.

The company went looking for shallow, high grade zinc-copper mineralization along strike of the historic Bur deposit. The company firmly believes it found said mineralization.

The assay results include 3.26 metres of mineralization 6.68 per cent zinc, 2.34 per cent copper, 0.04 grams per tonne gold and 16.79 grams per tonne silver.

The highest overall mineral assay the company returned was 0.86 metres at 22.06 per cent zinc, 2.12 per cent copper, gold 0.04 grams per tonne and silver at 17.30 grams per tonne.

Rockcliff are currently putting the exploration work in at the Bur property in order to assume a 100 per cent stake in the property. The option agreement will finalise once the company hits an overall spend of C$3 million.

The CEO and President of Rockcliff Metals, Alistair Ross said the drill program shows great promise.

“The drilling has identified shallow high grade mineralization above 150 metres vertical over a distance of more than 500 metres in an under explored area south of the high-grade deposit.

“We look forward to continuing to advance the property as we near our 100 per cent earn in requirement of $3 million.

“Given our current copper focus, we are particularly interested in the number of copper assays over 2 per cent in this area,” he said.

The Bur deposit is a narrow sulphide deposit that ranges from between 0.3 metres thick and 5 metres thick and has a lateral extent of approximately 4,500 metres.

Rockcliff Metals Corp (RCLF) is in the grey for the day with a per share price of $0.12 at 2:57 pm EDT.
