Rugby (RUG) will soon initiate its exploration program at its Cobrasco Copper Project in Colombia.

The company intends to conduct soil and rock sampling and an induced polarization survey over the property’s stream geochemical anomaly before drilling in June.

Cobrasco is a 3,000 hectare porphyry copper-molybdenum system in western Colombia confirmed by a 43-101 technical report (2014). Alteration appears similar to other large porphyry copper systems where primary magnetite is replaced by hematite. A community agreement and water permits are now in place.

“The Cobrasco footprint is large, based on the mapping, sampling and geophysics completed historically. To say we are excited about getting on with the discovery process is an understatement,” stated Yale Simpson, Rugby’s Chairman.

Rugby Mining is a mineral exploration company active in Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Australia and the Philippines.

Rugby (RUG) is up by 29.03 per cent trading at $0.20 per share as of 2:17 pm EST.
