Sitka (SIG) has released 2022 winter exploration results from the RC Gold Project in Yukon.

The company completed four diamond drill holes during the program over 1,242.8 m focused on the Blackjack Zone, which harbours a gold-in-soil anomaly of >100 ppb and >500 ppb over an area of 2 km by 500 m.

Drilling to date within the zone has demonstrated the potential for a continuous gold zone.

Gold assay highlights from DDRCCC-22-022 include:

The hole demonstrates that significant mineralization occurs in the surrounding metasedimentary rocks similar to Banyan Gold’s AurMac Project.

Assays from the remaining three holes are pending.

Sitka is planning an additional 9,000 m of drilling during its spring-summer program.

President & director Don Penner sat down with Shoran Devi to discuss the results.

Sitka Gold is a mineral exploration company focused on gold, silver and copper properties. It holds interests in projects in Canada and the U.S.
