Siyata Mobile (SYTA) has launched a new vehicle kit accessory that provides a unique solution for push-to-talk communication.

The Vehicle Kit 7 (VK7) is designed to be used with Siyata’s SD7 device, a ruggedized, mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) handset.

A first of its kind, the patent-pending car kit has an integrated 20-watt speaker, a simple slide-in connection sleeve for the SD7, and an external antenna connection for connecting to a windshield or roof mount antenna.

The unique connection features give users an in-vehicle experience that is similar to that of a traditional land mobile radio (LMR) device.

Marc Seelenfreund, Siyata CEO, commented on the company’s newest device.

“As we have always maintained,” said Mr. Seelenfreund, “our goal at Siyata is to be a leader in the Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (PoC) category, and we believe the pairing of the SD7 handset with the new VK7 vehicle kit creates an innovative, cost-effective, seamless upgrade from LMR to PoC.

“This product, and especially the combined VK7 and SD7 offering, addresses countless opportunities in the enterprise, first responder and public safety markets.”

The SD7 is easy to use with a limited interface and is LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth-enabled. With an IP67 rating, it is water and dust resistant, protected against drops, and has a strong battery life, making it ideal for use in harsh environments.

Siyata Mobile is a global B2B vendor of next-generation Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) devices and cellular booster systems.

The company’s portfolio of in-vehicle and rugged smartphones enables first responders and enterprise workers to instantly communicate over a nationwide cellular network of choice, allowing them to improve communication, increase situational awareness, and save lives.

Shares in Siyata Mobile Inc. (SYTA) are currently down 3.22 per cent, trading at US$3.31 per share as of 11 am EST.
