OHB: Strategic expansion in space

Stock markets show that technology and strategic foresight are currently highly valued. The established Bremen-based space group OHB is attracting attention with a shrewd investment. The company has acquired a 25% stake in MediaMobil Communication GmbH as part of a capital increase. In doing so, the group is specifically strengthening its expertise in the demanding field of satellite communications. The two companies have worked together in the past, particularly on innovative solutions for rocket launches from the North Sea.

MediaMobil brings over 30 years of experience in crisis and emergency communications. For OHB, this move gives it access to valuable expertise that will be particularly important for large-scale projects and the rapidly growing defence sector. Financially, the group is already on a solid footing. The order backlog is at record levels and most recently stood at around EUR 3.30 billion. The stock market is rewarding this operational strength, and the shares have recovered impressively in recent weeks following a brief period of weakness. Analysts are also optimistic about the coming quarters and see further share price potential thanks to full order books and European efforts to achieve independence.

Supported by strong momentum, the shares could now continue to gather pace towards EUR 350 to EUR 400. However, they should not fall back below the EUR 190 to EUR 192 zone, as momentum would weaken significantly and could even reverse.

CTS Eventim: Fresh momentum from activist investor

The situation at our second candidate, European events and ticketing heavyweight CTS Eventim, is no less exciting. After a challenging period on the stock market, a prominent new arrival is now giving the shares fresh momentum. US investment fund Ananym Capital has taken a stake in the MDAX group and sees significant, untapped share price potential of 50% to 100%.

The investor argues that CTS Eventim trades at a significant valuation discount of around 44% to its US competitor, Live Nation, even though its business model, encompassing live entertainment and ticket marketing, is highly profitable.

Admittedly, the year has not been entirely free of friction. Among other things, an abrupt change in the CFO position caused a stir, but operations continue at full speed. In the first half, group revenue rose 16.9% to EUR 1.5 billion, while adjusted EBITDA climbed to EUR 225.4 million.

The activist investor is now calling for greater transparency, increased share buybacks and the targeted use of artificial intelligence. The shares have already moved away from their lows in response and are currently in fairly good shape. The upcoming Capital Markets Day in November should show whether management takes up the suggestions and drives the share price higher.

If the shares capitalise on this fresh momentum, a recovery to the region of EUR 90 to EUR 95 could be quite conceivable. This is where the sharp correction began in August 2025 with little resistance. A rise could now “rectify” this from a technical perspective.

MustGrow Biologics: Is the stock about to take off?

From two large, established companies, we now turn to emerging cleantech innovator MustGrow Biologics, which is advancing its technology for sustainable agriculture. The Canadian company is focused on sustainable and regenerative farming, developing highly efficient biological crop protection products and fertilisers based on mustard seed extracts. Its technology aims to replace synthetic chemicals and fertilisers, protect soil health and help farmers maximise yields.

This is a key long-term issue, as the world’s population continues to grow and food production must keep pace. If this theme continues to gain traction on the stock market, MustGrow shares are likely to come into sharper focus. A major milestone in the company’s history is its strategic License and Collaboration Agreement with chemicals giant Bayer AG covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Yesterday, a much-anticipated joint fireside chat was held as part of a webcast, featuring MustGrow COO Colin Bletsky and Bayer’s Ralf Glaubitz. The discussion focused on global market opportunities and regulatory frameworks. In August, MustGrow announced its first significant milestone payment for technical product development under the collaboration. With hundreds of synthetic pesticides banned worldwide, the search for natural alternatives remains an important issue for the agricultural sector.

From a technical perspective, MustGrow Biologics is in an extremely interesting position. Several horizontal support lines provide fairly solid downside protection. Most recently, the shares have set about breaking out of the months-long downtrend. The shares are trading around CAD 0.43, already above the CAD 0.30 low. The share price could now gather pace towards the CAD 0.45 mark, where the first resistance awaits. If a sustained breakout above the fiercely contested zone between CAD 0.50 and CAD 0.60 succeeds, the lights are likely to turn green and, from a technical perspective, the path could be clear to the CAD 0.75 to CAD 0.80 region, where a notable swing high lies. Trading activity in the coming trading days should provide further insight into how the market has responded to the latest developments, including yesterday’s fireside chat.

The technical setup is improving, and the breakout could gain momentum.

Conclusion

In conclusion, all three companies presented offer fascinating prospects in their own way. OHB underpins its strong market position in the European space industry through astute strategic acquisitions and a healthy order book, which should provide long-term stability. CTS Eventim benefits from a proven business model in live entertainment, and pressure from the activist investor could bring hidden value to light and lift the share price. MustGrow Biologics, meanwhile, a smaller cleantech stock, is gaining fresh technical momentum after a bottoming-out phase. The company appears fairly solidly positioned, is receiving a tangible boost from its partnership with Bayer and is in promising shape, offering patient investors the opportunity for a sustained re-rating and enormous share price potential.
