High-flying software and engineering stock SPARC AI Inc. (CSE:SPAI) logged growth on the release of two core products, but not without caveats.

This includes a Target Acquisition System and Autonomous Flight Solution, which intends to leverage the SPARC AI core technology to operate without GPS, satellite, lidar, radar, laser, image recognition or any other complex and expensive hardware or software.

SPARC AI’s Target Acquisition System is a discreet and highly adaptable software that can be installed on any camera-equipped device, including drones and large-scale surveillance systems. Designed to support tactical and mission-critical decision-making, this technology can pinpoint the location and measure the distance to any remote object, all without relying on GPS.

SPARC AI’s Autonomous Flight Solution enables customers to deploy and operate drones autonomously using SPARC AI algorithms, even in environments where GPS is unavailable. The company is also working on expanding this capability to allow for autonomous drone flight without the need for a controller or a connection to a base station.

The company continues to conduct performance testing, aiming to produce a comprehensive user guide and specification manual for customers. Beyond this, the team is further developing its technology.

SPARC AI Inc. has developed and patented Spatial Predictive Approximation and Radial Convolution (SPARC), encompassing exclusive algorithms leveraging established mathematical principles to determine the positions of remote objects independently of satellite, GPS or internet connectivity. Leveraging this core IP, SPARC AI is in the process of creating a variety of geospatial solutions, which are being seamlessly integrated into a microchip. This integration empowers users to enable SPARC AI functionality across their camera devices, including drones.

While SPARC AI Inc. (CSE:SPAI) stock moved more than 9 per cent higher on Monday, it gave back much of those gains by Tuesday’s open, trading nearly 6 per cent lower at $0.40 per share, though it has risen 310 per cent since the year began.
