Spearmint (SPMT) has drilled the longest clay intercept ever on its McGee Project in Nevada.

Drill hole 18 from its phase III drill program encountered a massive 652 feet of continuous potential lithium-bearing claystone directly bordering Cypress Development and Pure Energy Minerals.

The hole is also the farthest step-out hole to the west at approximately 3,700 feet from any previous drilling, and one of the longest continuous claystone intercepts recorded in the history of Nevada’s Clayton Valley.

Assay analysis is forthcoming.

“Hole 18 beats our recent longest claystone intercept of 562 feet, announced on Jan. 21, 2022. If these holes run at lithium grades similar to what we’ve already achieved on the McGee Project, it could potentially increase our resource estimate significantly,” stated James Nelson, President of Spearmint Resources.

Spearmint Resources is a mineral exploration company focused on projects in Nevada and Quebec.

Spearmint (SPMT) is up by 3.33 per cent trading at $0.155 per share as of 9:33 am EST.
