Star Navigation (SNA) has signed an LOI with Astral Aviation.

The company will sell seven of its STAR-ISMS (in-flight safety monitoring systems) destined for cargo aircraft in Kenya.

The news follows positive feedback from an aviation accident prevention conference with FlightPath in Kenya.

“This LOI with Astral gives Star a wide variety of planes to install our Star A.D.S (real-time autonomous aircraft normal ops and distress tracking system),” stated Amir Bhatti, Star’s CEO. “We are excited to have this opportunity to work with Astral and provide them a solution to improve safety and optimize their aircraft operations.”

Star Navigation Systems provides aerospace hardware and software to operators across the globe.
