Mr. Shapiro currently serves as CEO and director of Red Light Holland, a company that produces, grows, and sells its brand of premium magic truffles in the Netherlands.

Red Light Holland, led by Mr. Shapiro, has developed a global network of contacts in the regulated substance industry. He also brings a deep understanding of the emerging market, distribution, and social media exposure.

Chris Savoie, CEO and director of The Hash Corporation (HashCo), commented the addition of Mr. Shapiro to the board.

“He is a visionary with a vast network of connections, and the business acumen necessary to assist HashCo in developing new business opportunities,” he said.

Mr. Shapiro said that he is excited to join the HashCo team.

Upon his appointment, HashCo granted Mr. Shapiro 1 million restricted stock units that will vest quarterly over the first year from the date of issuance.

HashCo is a Canadian company focused on the production and sale of cannabis-based hashish and other cannabis products.

The company intends to tailor its product offerings to pay tribute to historic traditions, fragrances and tastes, while upholding the highest health and safety standards.
