Trigon Metals (TM) has defined a new mineralization extension at its Kombat mine and released results from holes drilled at the East 900 area.

Trigon is a Canadian exploration company with its business focused on copper and silver holdings in Africa. The Kombat Mine lies within the Otavi Mountainlands, Nambia.

The company has named the new area the Central Pit SW Extension. Notable intercepts of copper were struck at the extension with grades above 4.00 per cent throughout the strike.

Trigon Metals noted the Central Pit and extension resources are not overlapping previously mined areas. The mineralization showed up north of the pit and extension which it sees as a prospective opportunity.

East 900 drill hole results also found consistent copper intercepts. However, all of the holes only had grades just under 2.00 per cent.

These results are a part of a 10,000-metre planned drill program which is defining resources and doing new exploration work for the central license area at the Kombat Mine.

Trigon Metals Inc. (TM) is up 16.67 per cent and is trading at $0.24 per share as of 1:19 p.m. ET.
