Jourdan (JOR) reports that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau toured the NAL Complex in Quebec on April 3, 2023.

Trudeau’s visit was to commemorate the complex’s start of production, which makes it Canada’s only lithium producer.

Jourdan entered into an earn-in and joint venture agreement with North American Lithium Inc. on a portion of its Vallée property, which is directly east of the NAL Complex.

North American Lithium Inc. is a majority-owned indirect subsidiary of Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA).

Jourdan and Sayona plan to undertake a drill program on claims adjacent to NAL in May 2023.

Jourdan owns 16,000 hectares of land east of the NAL Complex.

VP and Head of Mining, Roger Lemaitre, spoke with Simon Druker about the news.

Jourdan Resources is focused on the acquisition, exploration, production and development of mining properties in Quebec, primarily in the spodumene-bearing pegmatites of the La Corne Batholith around North American Lithium’s operation.

Jourdan (JOR) is up by 17.65 per cent trading at $0.10 per share as of 11:50 am EST.
