UniDoc Health Corp. (UDOC) has begun pilot trials of a health care and virtual care platform solution at three Ontario pharmacies.

The pilot trials are pursuant to a letter of intent with OnPharm-United, a network of independent pharmacies in Canada.

The LOI requires the companies to offer a virtual health care platform solution exclusively to the OnPharm-United network. Upon successful testing of UniDoc’s Virtual Care Solutions Model, OnPharm-United agrees to offer the Virtual Care Solutions Model kiosks to its network of pharmacies.

The UniDoc Virtual Care Solution Model will offer customizable, and comprehensive telehealth solutions based on a variety of integrated physical enclosures, kiosks, and related configurable packaging designed to deliver web-based services and analytical tools. It works in combination with access to a developing network of healthcare providers, pharmacies, and hospitals.

The pilot trials are expected to finish by April 30. After which, both parties agree to enter a definitive agreement where OnPharm-United will have exclusive use of the Virtual Care Solutions Model.

UniDoc will offer leasing, subscription fees, and revenue sharing models to OnPharm-United before completing the transaction.

Moreover, UniDoc will train the employees of any member pharmacy in which a Virtual Care Solutions Models kiosk is placed to ensure trained staff are available during business hours to assist users of the kiosks, as may be required.

UniDoc Health Corp. (UDOC) is unchanged trading at $1.25 per share as of 9:41 a.m. EST.
