Victory (VR) has received drilling permit approval for its Smokey Lithium Property in Esmeralda County, Nevada.

Exploration will focus on new high-quality drill targets to extend strong lithium mineralization intersected on Smokey’s hole 09, which included claystone-hosted lithium mineralization at 417 feet.

The company will also pursue grassroots targets of claystone sediments within the Weepah Detachment Fault and Esmeralda Formation based on prospective 2022 drilling.

Management sees a high likelihood of intersecting lithium-rich clays, given fieldwork to date, which may indicate maiden resource potential.

“As announced last week, in anticipation of approval for drilling newly identified hole locations in the area of interest contiguous with the southwest part of the original claim block, we have secured all the resources required to launch our drilling program in the near future, weather depending,” stated Mark Ireton, Victory’s President and CEO.

Victory Battery Metals is a mineral exploration company with interests in North America.

Victory Battery Metals (VR) opened with a gain of 5.88 per cent, trading at $0.09 per share.
