Nuvei (TSX:NVEI) partners with Virgin Atlantic as a payment provider

Nuvei (NVEI) announced that it has partnered with one of the world’s most prominent airlines, Virgin Atlantic.

The agreement gives Virgin access to Nuvei’s proprietary modular platform designed to boost acceptance rates and accelerate revenue. It will provide Virgin’s customers with a frictionless payment experience and will enable them to pay using the methods they know and trust globally.

Nuvei builds on its exceptional technology with customized solutions designed for some of the largest companies in the industry. This agreement is the latest in a series of partnerships with leading travel companies such as Air Transat, Scott Dunn, Selina, and others.

Philip Fayer, Chair and CEO of Nuvei, commented on the news.

The latest statistics project the global travel industry to have a market volume of US$992.10bn by 2026. Online sales will make up 73 per cent of the total revenue, making digital payments instrumental to industry growth.

Keli Sandeman, Payment Strategy Manager at Virgin Atlantic, also commented on the partnership.

Nuvei Corporation (NVEI) is down 2.59 per cent, trading at C$38.05 per share at 12:26 pm ET.
