Visionary Gold Corp. (VIZ) has added five members to its newly formed exploration advisory board and has hired Jason Felsman as consulting geologist.

The exploration advisory board will guide the Visionary exploration team, implement new practices, and evaluate new projects as the company plans its inaugural drilling campaign at the Wolf Gold Project.

Mr. Felsman, the company’s new consulting geologist, has extensive experience working with mining companies in Wyoming, and previously worked as a senior geologist for GFG Resources at its Rattlesnake Hills Gold Project.

Visionary CEO Wes Adams commented on the new hire and the appointment of the company’s new board members, saying,

“It is a rare opportunity to have this level of exploration experience in a junior gold company, which we feel is a testament to the quality of exploration properties and prospects Visionary has assembled to date. We look forward to our upcoming drill program at the Wolf Gold Project and to continuing advancements to our Miz and Mint Gold Leaf targets this summer, while evaluating new projects of merit within the region.”

W. Dan Hausel, Eugene D. Spiering, Patrick Hillard, Dr. Nuri Uzunlar and Geophysicist Kenneth Sweet have more than 150 years of experience in economic geology and exploration geophysics.

The new advisory board members have been a part of several significant mineral resource discoveries that have led to commercial production and the appointments will “substantially enhance” Visionary’s technical team.

Visionary is a mineral exploration company focused on precious metal properties.

Visionary Gold Corp. (VIZ) is up 3.13 per cent and is trading at $0.165 per share as of 10:10 am ET.
