Visionstate (TSXV:VIS), a facility management technology stock, is experiencing growing adoption of its WANDA system in municipalities across Canada.

WANDA is a facility management suite spanning task verification, data tracking and public alerts designed to enhance service delivery and community appeal. The system is active in hospitals, airports, shopping centres and other public facilities across North America and abroad.

WANDA’s most recent deployment includes 10 Time of Flight battery-powered people counters to compile traffic data and issue alerts based on predefined volumes, including in public restrooms. The client will also install WANDA QR codes throughout the municipality, including in a recreation centre and tourist information areas, allowing residents to report issues and governments to take action.

According to Monday’s news release, the deployment “reflects a growing trend of municipalities leveraging technology to enhance visitor experiences and uphold world-class standards in public facility management.” Backed by real-time public feedback and cleaning data, Visionstate believes WANDA is filling this need, as highlighted by a growing pipeline of commercial opportunities with sector-leading businesses active in education, manufacturing, municipal government, public facility management and building service contracting.

Leadership insights

“Adopting WANDA demonstrates a municipality’s commitment to improving public spaces and delivering exceptional service,” Shannon Moore, president of Visionstate, said in a statement. “The decision to integrate WANDA underscores the value of our system in building a clean, safe and welcoming environment. We’re thrilled to see municipalities using WANDA to enhance their facilities and strengthen their connection with the community.”
