Volatus Aerospace Corp. (VOL) announced that its U.K. subsidiary, iRed Ltd, signed a contract for monthly methane leak inspections at 14 water treatment facilities.

Under the 12-month contract, iRed will handle the remote analysis of infrastructure at water treatment facilities across the locations in the northwest U.K. using optical gas imaging cameras.

Glen Lynch, CEO of Volatus, commented,

“The added capability of optical gas imaging is expected to open new doors with our existing oil and gas customers… iRed can leverage the strength of our oil and gas expertise to generate new opportunities in that sector in the U.K.”

Volatus provides integrated drone solutions throughout North America, Latin America, and globally. It serves civil, public safety, and defence markets with imaging and inspection, security and surveillance, equipment sales and support, training, design, and manufacturing.

iRed is a service company that provides engineering, thermography, and inspection services.
