Water Ways Technologies Inc. (WWT) has received another order for its medical cannabis Internet of Things (IoT) precise irrigation and fertilization system.

The $315,000 order was made by a licensed producer with a medical cannabis cultivation facility in Israel. Water Ways expects to deliver and install the system by the end of 2021.

The IoT system was designed to increase the yield and consistency for cannabis growers and cultivators while maintaining a high quality of products. The system also reduces energy, water, and fertilization costs.

“This is the fifth order of the system in Israel, which is a proof of the advantages our technology offers to medical cannabis growers,” remarked Ohad Haber, Water Ways president and CEO. “So far, the system has been delivered within Israel and the company intends to focus its efforts selling it internationally and expand to additional markets and to additional indoor crops.”

The system’s IoT control gateway allows the user to control the whole cultivation process by adjusting the following features:

The controller software can be installed on smart phones, PCs, and local controller touch screens, allowing the growers to decide who is permitted to use the controller, and control it over the web remotely.

Water Ways Technologies is a global provider of Israeli-based agriculture technology, providing water irrigation solutions to agricultural producers.

The company’s irrigation projects include vineyards, cotton fields, apple and orange orchards, blueberries, medical cannabis, fresh produce cooling rooms, and more, in over 15 countries.

Water Ways Technologies Inc. (WWT) is down 3.03 per cent, trading at $0.16 per share at 11:43 am ET.
