- Cannabis company WeedMD (WMD) has entered into a sales, marketing, and distribution agreement with Quebec-based cultivator ROSE LifeScience
- Under the agreement, the companies will expand WeedMD’s adult-use product brand, Color Cannabis, into the province of Quebec
- Color Cannabis will be made available through the Société Québécoise du cannabis (SQDC), starting in early 2021
- This arrangement will extend the company’s current distribution network to cover over 85 per cent of Canada
- WeedMD is up 3.39 per cent, and is currently trading for $0.30 per share
Cannabis company WeedMD (WMD) has entered into a sales, marketing, and distribution agreement with Quebec-based cultivator ROSE LifeScience.
Through the agreement, the companies will expand WeedMD’s adult-use cannabis product brand, Color Cannabis, into the province of Quebec.
Color Cannabis will be made available through the Société Québécoise du cannabis (SQDC), in partnership with local producer ROSE LifeScience.
Currently, WeedMD’s cannabis products are available in provinces including Ontario, Nova Scotia, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. This arrangement will extend the company’s already robust distribution network to cover over 85 per cent of Canada.
WeedMD’s Executive Chairman and Interim CEO, George Scorsis, is thrilled to introduce Quebec residents to the company’s line-up of products, via the SQDC.
“Securing entry into Quebec, one of Canada’s most populated provinces, alongside a well-reputed local partner in ROSE represents an important part of our plan to expand the presence and availability of our Color Cannabis products,” he said.

ROSE LifeScience’s President, Davide Zaffino, also commented on the sales, marketing, and distribution agreement between the two companies.

WeedMD’s Color Cannabis brand will start becoming available in Quebec sometime in early 2021. The company expects to introduce its cannabis products to more Canadian provinces later this year.
WeedMD is up 3.39 per cent and trading for $0.30 per share, as of 11:58am EST.
