Windfall Geotek (WIN) has completed an AI analysis of Dios Exploration’s K2 project in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay Region of Quebec.

The largest target on the K2 Property covers an area of 0.87 square kilometres and is known for its emerging gold and base metal mineralization potential.

Windfall’s artificial intelligence technology uses algorithms to highlight areas of interest using public and private datasets. The AI tracks geophysical, drill hole, and surface data to calculate areas with potential for gold deposits and mineralization.

Marie-Jose Girard, president and geologist of Dios Exploration, commented on the newest AI data from Windfall.

“We are thrilled to have acquired this high probability target ahead of our Summer 2021 campaign in the same region,” she remarked. “We have seen positive results with our neighbour (Elmer project) in the same geological context and we feel this target has good potential to be incorporated into our drilling program.”

An AI analysis of a 148,969 square kilometre area in the James Bay Region includes four geological sub-provinces: the Minto, La Grande, Opinaca-Opatica subprovince, and Ashuanipi complex. These areas are defined by volcano-plutonic and sedimentary assemblages as well as contact between basalt and felsic tuffs.

Dinesh Kandanchatha, chair of Windfall Geotek, also remarked on the company’s partnership with Dios Exploration.

“We are excited to be working with Dios Exploration in a Win-Win scenario at a strategic time with the upcoming field work Dios is undertaking over summer 2021,” he said.

Windfall Geotek is an Artificial Intelligence company that has been in business for over 15 years, developing its proprietary CARDS analysis AI and data mining techniques.

Windfall Geotek Inc. (WIN) is up 2.78 per cent, trading at $0.185 per share as of 11:55 am ET.
