Entertainment company, WOW Unlimited Media (WOW) has announced some changes to its corporate leadership.

Most notable is the impending resignation of Fred Seibert, the Chief Creative Officer of WOW. In addition to being a Director of the company, he is also CEO of Frederator, the subsidiary studio he founded.

Fred’s resignation, which will take effect on November 27, 2020, allows him to return to independent production.

WOW’s CEO, Michael Hirsh, will take over as the CEO of Frederator, effective immediately. The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Neil Chakravarti, will become the COO of Frederator as well.

In order to ensure a smooth transition, Fred will remain involved as an executive producer on major current Frederator projects. These projects include Castlevania and Bee & PuppyCat.

Despite his departure, Fred intends to continue partnering and collaborating with WOW on future projects, as an independent producer.

Frederator’s outgoing CEO and WOW’s Chief Creative Officer, Fred Seibert, commented on his departure from the company.

“I’m happy to have brought Frederator into the WOW! Family, where I know it will continue to grow and thrive.

“I am looking forward to returning to my roots as an independent cartoon producer who’s constantly searching – and finding! – unique talents with original voices.

“I’ll continue to collaborate with the Frederator/WOW Team on projects going forward, as we both share the same passion that goes into this great field of animation entertainment,” he said.

WOW Unlimited Media (WOW) is down five per cent as is and trading at C$0.38 per share at 11:18am EDT.
