In a news release, the Toronto-based company stated that system deployment will begin in Tennessee and Ohio with plans for further installations at more facilities.

The company claims it was chosen by the automotive manufacturer for its precise weapon detection capabilities and seamless integration into daily business operations.

“We’re excited to be working with another major player, our fourth, in the automotive field and to be expanding our growing scope of innovative customers across different industries,” Peter Evans, CEO of Xtract One, said in a statement. “By implementing our cutting-edge solutions, we aim to provide security measures to combat modern threats and provide a seamless experience for all guests and employees.”

According to the company, the deployment of its solutions will set a new standard for safety and innovation in the automotive industry.

Tuesday’s announcement comes in the same month that Xtract One revealed the installation of SmartGateway screeners at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, home of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers.

“In introducing our game-changing technology to the Cleveland Cavaliers’ home court, we’re taking SmartGateway to the NBA stage and showcasing just how impactful the system can be for live event venues across the nation, including in Cleveland during this year’s playoffs,” Evans said in a statement.

Xtract One’s security solutions enhance entry experience and detect threats while also ensuring privacy and comfort.
