Roscan Gold (TSXV:ROS) has released drill results from an additional 10 holes on its Mankouke South Target at the Kandiole Property in Mali.

The drilling work totalled 1,855 metres and intersected notable grades in four of the 10 holes.

The best result hit 4.03 grams per tonne gold over 28.5 metres at 23 metres down. Further down the hole that drill hit 5.16 grams per tonne gold over 65 metres. The second assay contained higher-grade results of 12.6 gram per tonne over seven metres and 15.1 grams per tonne gold over five metres.

Another hole returned 3.73 grams over 36 metres at 148 metres down, including 14.7 grams per tonne gold over 4.5 meters.

Along with the drilling work at the site’s Moukouke target, the company has been working on seven other targets on the Kandiole project.

Drilling at the Kandiole prospect has motivate Roscan to commence near surface testing and deep vein drilling within the next few months.

Previously, the company has received results from Kandiole that went as high 11.3 grams per tonne of gold across four metres.

President and CEO of Roscan Gold, Nana Sangmuah said the drilling results were very encouraging and point towards a deeper feed source for the mineralization at the site.

“While still early days, this often is a trademark of the larger deposits in the district.

“One of our highest gram metre intersected to date is drill hole 20-34, which highlights the high-grade potential at Mankouke South where we currently have two drill rigs.”

“In addition, we have extended the vertical depth at Southern Mankouke to 165 metres in drill hole 20-41,” he said.

Roscan Gold (ROS) is up 11.6 per cent and is trading at C$0.43 per share at 10:50 pm EDT.
