Hemp grower, Sweet Earth Holdings (SE) is releasing two new additions to its line of CBD-infused Muscle Recovery products.

The latest additions to the line are a CBD Cooling Gel and CBD Hot Cold Muscle Rub. The cooling gel, which is infused with 640 milligrams of CBD, cools and hydrates the body after a workout.

The muscle rub also contains 640 milligrams of CBD, but provides an icy-hot sensation through cooling menthol.

According to Harvard Medical School’s Harvard Health Publishing, CBD can help reduce pain and inflammation when applied to the skin. This makes it an ideal ingredient for products which assist in muscle recovery.

Both of the products are accredited by Leaping Bunny, a cruelty-free certification. They are also infused in a vegan mixture of essential oils, giving the gels a pleasant scent.

The addition of these new products represents Sweet Earth’s ongoing expansion into natural health products for men and women.

The Cooling Gel and Hot Cold Muscle Rub are now available for immediate distribution across North America. However, Sweet Earth intends to eventually make them both available internationally, pending the appropriate approvals.

The company already has some body rubs ready for international markets, containing hemp instead of CBD. This is because hemp products are approved in most international jurisdictions, while CBD is not.

Sweet Earth’s President, Amrik Virk, commented on the addition of new products to the company’s offering.

“We see opportunities in the CBD-infused muscle recovery market segment for young active users, as well as growing middle-aged and senior populations,” he said.

Sweet Earth Holdings (SE) is up 2.70 per cent and is trading at C$0.19 per share at 12:46pm EDT.
