Fandom Sports Media (FDN) has entered into its first mutual affiliate agreement (MAA) partnership for its regulated wagering platform.

Fandom and Elite Duels have executed the MAA under which Elite Duels, a private company operating an Esports fantasy platform, will be promoting Fandom’s wagering platform and Fandom will be driving traffic to Elite Duels’ platform under a mutual sharing agreement.

Fandom Sports Media CEO David Vinokurov said the partnership with Elite Duels was a good fit for both Canadian companies.

“It’s a very compelling platform. The aesthetic of it is clean. It’s extremely functional. The reviews that I’ve’ gotten from people that have used, and are using the platform have been fantastic,” he added.

Vinokurov said this announcement is significant because the company is able to offer a complimentary service to its wagering platform – which will be launched soon.

“Fantasy Sports and Fantasy Esports are a complimentary product to direct Esports wagering and Esports predictions, so we’re able to offer a more inclusive service offering to our players and fans all under our umbrella.”

Fandom’s peer-to-peer wagering platform is being built upon proprietary data feeds from leading Esports game publishers. All current players on the Elite Duels database will have early access to the Fandom wagering platform.

Fandom Sports Media is up 5.71 per cent and is trading for C$0.185 per share, as of 1:57pm EST.
