Copper Fox (CUU) plans to undertake an IP survey to identify drill targets at its Mineral Mountain Copper Project in Arizona.

The induced polarization survey will consist of two targets.

Target one is hosted in Laramide-age mineralized multi-phase intrusive stock and measures 4,500 m long by up to 2,000 m wide.

This target consists of three overlapping styles of copper mineralization occurring as disseminations, as well as striking quartz veins and veinlet stockworks and fractures.

Target two measures 2,800 m long by 400 m wide and is located approximately 800 m Southeast of target one. Its copper mineralization occurs in quartz veins and vein stockworks and fractures hosted in Precambrian Pinal Schist, diabase and the Ruin Granite with similar strike and dip directions to target one.

The geophysical survey will extend 12.5 km to test the continuity at depth of the copper mineralization in both targets.

The survey will also map the chargeability and resistivity signatures to an average depth of 600 m below surface.

Elmer B. Stewart, President and CEO of Copper Fox, stated,

“The objective of the geophysical survey is to advance the project to the drill ready stage by mapping the chargeability/resistivity signatures below the copper mineralization exposed in outcrop on both targets. Assuming positive results, the data will be combined with previous work to select drill hole locations.”

Copper Fox Metals is focused on copper exploration and development in Canada and the United States. It holds interests in projects in Arizona and British Columbia.

Copper Fox (CUU) is up 10.81 per cent and is currently trading at C$0.41 per share as of 9:30 am ET.
